WELCOME TO THE FIRE

We're a lighthearted RP FC, wanting to enjoy the world of FFXIV, rather than just rushing through the content and burn out at the endgame.Our aim is to be a cozy place with space to grow as characters in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We are anything but hardcore, and don't take ourselves all too serious... mostly.We welcome everyone who wishes to do some casual RP in the game, be it veterans or those who wish to dabble in creating a character for the first time. Your race, gender, sexuality and style will not be judged. We're already a very lovely ragtag group of misfits, and there's plenty of room for you as well!We stride ever forward with fire in our souls and passion in our hearts.In our basement, we host the Pecs & Purrs venue, but it's not a part of the FC as a whole.

RULEBOOK

This should go without saying, but be nice and respect others, both when in and out of character.We do not tolerate any kind of racist, homophobic, sexist or toxic behavior in the slightest.While we can be lewd and suggestive in good fun, ERP has no place in public.Don't use cheating plugins that give you an unfair advantage over your comrades.Excessive swearing, vile language and insults targeted at fellow FC mates, are prohibited OOC. IC is another story and depends on the persona.

GUIDEBOOK

When you start out in Campfire, you will have the rank Kindling. These are our expectations for a new resident:Take your time to settle in and get to know everyone.Develop your RP persona and interact with the others using it.Create a profile for your persona for the public Carrd.Kindlings have access to the chocobo stables and can ask any member to fetch stuff for them from FC tab 1.As you advance within our house, you will also advance to S'more, which requires for you to be roasted before promoted. These are our expectations for a full member:Be active in and with the FC, meaning you take part in weekly and daily content every now and then with your FC mates.Uphold and develop your RP persona while also creating a profile for it on Discord.Help with events on Discord by reacting with the needed information like your availability and preferences.Take part in our events when relevant and possible for you.Should you not be able to meet these expectations, you will be called in for a talk about your stay in the FC.⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘Please note that these requirements are based on your time online, and that real life takes priority.
It doesn't take much effort to let someone know that life is giving you lemons though, and we don't need to know exactly what's going on, so do reach out an let us know if times are tough.The Spark rank is reserved for those who are no longer considered active members, which means they are missing in action and/or have no contact with the FC, not even on Discord.Sparks are on the chopping block due to inactivity, and will be pulled in for a talk about their stay in the FC at some point.

ROLEPLAY BOOK

First of all, you will never be required to be in character outside of designated RP events, but to some extent, you will find all of us being semi in character at all times, playing out the interests and relationships we’ve developed in and among each other.Second, you don’t have to have an elaborate backstory and full character set up when you join our RP. Feel free to stay in the background and get a feel for how we do things, and jump in whenever you want to. With a bit of time and effort, you will quickly find yourself and make personal connections to the other members.We do not speak in quotes, “so don’t feel the need to talk like this”. We already are our characters, so there is no need to put empathies on your sentences. However, while in RP, feel free to use brackets to let us know if the real you is (brb) because (someone’s at the door).While not required to, we do appreciate FC chambers to be decorated to match the characters we play. So instead of just tossing in random furniture and calling it a day, try spending a few moments reflecting on how to best represent your character in the form of a room, as we might just use it in a story or for an event.Last, but not least…Respect each other! You are not the main character in someone else’s story.

FASHION BOOK

It's up to each member to decide whether or not they want to use mods and / or plugins, and if they want to add each other on Mare. We have no syncshell though, and most probably won't create one. As for NSFW looks, we endorse them as long as they don't explicitly showcase naughty bits at all times.

What exactly happened in each situation?

The real floatie!: Saki was about to go for a rare node when he summoned a mount and noticed it looking like it floated in the pool, yelling loudly about it in excitement.
Note: While Iso looks tired of the cat's shit in the video, he was actually laughing at it, but it was too OOC of a reaction for something so silly.Vhilo's... break?: He actually is on a break, but he admitted to missing his idiots while being busy outside of the game, and popped back in after just a few days to get some stuff done.Summer be like that: It's the month where most members are on vacation, but also where the summer event is up, so while Saki invited Diana to join him on the cruise ship, the bun said no... and got to hear for it....kupo ~ ?!: Vhilo really loves Moogles. He just thinks they are so cute and whimsy, and he could cuddle them all day! ...up close, with an axe.Final Phamtomsy!: The final step of the Phantom relics arrived, and while Saki was pretty enthusiastic about it, Diana and Vhilo were... maybe not so happy about the requirements.Dinosaur, rawr!: River just never seems to be lucky with the Eureka lockboxes, though he really, really wants the dinosaur mount.Two souls; one mind ~ !: Iso joined the FC and met Blubry, and so they started talking about plants when they found to have the same passion for them, while Saki understood absolutely 0.Ah, friendships ~ !: No matter where they go, Diana and Saki will argue and yell at each other, to the very amusement of Vhilo.
Note: This was based on the scrapped video about Glor leaving, and the video was shadow banned due to the swearing, but a censored version was out of the question due to it losing its meaning.Big Fat Tacos ~ !: K'an got the new emote, and S'ndae said he looked so cute while eating. Simp! But he's a dog, so dog behavior by the sight of food was added.Heatwave week...: All planned events for the week were wiped by everyone being exhausted from the high temperatures, and even Saki overslept on the last day.Cat(fish) bait?: Pomme said he was fishing for sharks for scrips, and so Saki came over with cake, but then the sharks stopped biting, so he jumped into the water to play bait... and it somehow worked.She's learning!: Haru told Saki that she had met yet another creep while playing Valorant... but she had blacklisted him!
Note: The word "ass" triggered YouTube and the video was shadow banned, thus a friendly version was uploaded as well....also; hydrate ~ !: Diana is bad at stretching, and Saki is bad at eating, so they remind each other to do so and both afk for a short while to get it done.It's John Fantasia ~ !: Haru's boyfriend, River, joined and was immediately called out as looking like John Fantasy, so he used a Fantasia pretty quickly.AAAAAHAHAHAHA!!!: Lae loves FFXI. Lae really loves Shantotto. Lae had to have the new emote, and guess who was a Lala again...? Xiro!Where's Vhilo?: Well, he was in Vienna, watching the 2026 Eurovision semi finals, and these were his fav songs! The finals were watched at home with Diana, Saki, and Saki's brother in chat.Just a normal dog!: Haru and Saki found S'ndae in the garden once, staring into the distance, completely afk, but he was gone again after a quick unsynced trial.New garden ~ !: The increased garden furniture limit woke up Blubry and he put himself to work, to the very entertainment and joy of the others!Dem fishers!: K'an and Pomme both love to fish, and they talk about fish a lot. Shared happiness!True paradise(?): Based on when Diana first landed on Aloalo and saw it as pure zen, and when he went there the second time to experience the bad weather, which made him sad.Need that!: The new FF7 bike hit the online store, and Saki loves bikes, so while Diana noted that the cat already had the old one, he gave no fucks and bought the new one as well.Language barriers!: Diana has a habit of swearing in his own language, and thus this was made to show our barriers in language from time to time.
Note: The reason Saki can answer Vhilo is because he knows German, but speaks Danish himself.One door closes... Pt. 2: K'an did not come alone, but also brought his dog and friend with him. Diana was worried that Saki just lets anyone in without asking questions.
Note: The dog is an actual player character, but he prefers not to be in the videos, and thinks it's fun to be depicted as the Mameshiba minion instead.One door closes... Pt. 1: Glor wanted to change character and asked for both his old and new to be in the same video to show that he went from Glor to K'an. While the Elezen walks away, the Hrothgar walks in.
Note: The first version of Glor leaving had him being annoyed with Diana and Saki arguing loudly, ghost Xiro haunting him, Blubry snoring while he tried to work, and then just disappearing out of the house.She said no...: Saki wanted for ocean fishing to become a new FC activity, but Lae was not all too fond of the idea and became quite vocal about her opinion, even saying that she wasn't looking angry enough in the first version of the video.Haru, no!: Diana and Saki had told Haru before to not talk to strangers, as she's gotten in trouble before from doing so, but she ended up doing it anyway.
Note: The entire situation was way worse than this, and half the FC showed up to her location to show the culprit that she was not alone.So snazzy! Much wow!: Diana got a new glam and looked great, but he did not take the compliments well.Maybe next time!: Only Vhilo and Saki showed up for the planned maps, but the bun went to sleep while the cat went to PvP. Then Diana showed up for maps and a disappointment right after...Friday 13th... existed!: No one cared about the day, except maybe Lae. By this time, Xiro had been turned Lala before, but a monster was a little more fun for the date.Paste? Paste! PASTE!!!: Vhilo was not especially happy with Gerolt's demands, and eventually had to complain... which we get....but you just did!: Saki doing his good old pirouette, then denying Diana's request to make it a video... oh...Who dis...?: Haru rejoined the FC after over a year of absence, and Diana was a bit suspicious of her...The mighty hunter!: Xiro doing what he does best; being a big and mighty Monster Hunter cat! He picked the music himself.What "more" does she want from him...?: Diana was just doing his weekly turn-ins for Ameliance, when he noticed that she was a bit demanding and scary.It's right there!: Saki once said that he thought a male Viera had a nice beard, and Diana said he had one too, which needed a bit of proof...Happy Holidays ~ !: Just wishing everyone merry Christmas and a happy New Year! Also, Vhilo really hates Christmas trees for some reason.The Worqor Chirteh experience: A new Frontline map was introduced, and Vhilo was really not happy about everyone running away instead of fighting.Hardware issues...?: Saki used to have massive PC issues, and is not good at eating... so Blubry thought that might fix things.Poke the... Diana?: Saki likes poking Diana, but the bun doesn't like it back. Based on the old flash game, Poke the Penguin, where the SFX is from.Glor's Glams!: He'll always hunt more pieces, eat some pasta, and complain about how his precious dresser is full!What really happened... Pt. 2: ...and this was how every FC member reacted to that.What really happened... Pt. 1: It was not Bahamut who caused the meteors to fall upon Eorzea, but Lae...He knew better...: Saki is not allowed to eat Vhilo's fish, but still he did... and paid the price.At it again...: Zun joined the FC, and Diana and Saki lost Vhilo to simping... again.Training day...?: Xiro once said in ToD, that if he were to spend an entire day with an FC member, it would be Blubry, and this is (probably) how it'd go.Allergic to affection!: Diana would always pick fights with Saki, only to be knocked out by his dotes before getting used to being hit by them.Boys will be boys!: Vhilo, Diana and Saki are just the ones who're always causing shit. Totally. Always. Harry Potter, Saja Boys and Power Rangers in one video!Hunting A ranks is a sport!: Our scout, Diana, letting the FC know about an A rank he found, and thus Xiro, Vhilo and Saki assembled with much enthusiasm!He drinks everything...: The old man really drinks everything, while Lae leaves her potions everywhere, and maybe that's why he was once a Hrothgar...?So he likes alpacas!: During a moment of weakness, Diana let us know that he likes alpacas. Big news! But he won't admit it."He's simping again!": Vhilo always simped for... almost everyone, and Diana kept commenting on it, to no avail.Tiny evolves into a...!: Saki told Diana that he'd need to take Tiny out for some walks now and then, else he'd get fat. And so he did...Wish upon a little Lala!: Lae has always dreamt of turning everyone into fellow Lalas... but alas, it stays a dream.takes notes: Xiro once talked about raiding the fridge, and Saki took note of it... for no reason whatsoever, which confused the new mercenary.Blubry took a nap!: Self-explanatory, he falls asleep everywhere and in every situation, and the song just fit.Don't mess with Lae...!: Glor and Saki get absolutely meteor blasted with the house, when they piss off Lae. The vine behind this video was what sparked the idea to make short videos for the FC.Good birbs!: We died to the A rank Mahisha when it used Hex and ate us one by one, but Chocobos are immune to the ability, and so they kept fighting while we were dead, and actually won!
Note: Diana said it would make for a good video, so the birb recordings are actual footage of the fight.Diana joins the FC!: He quite literally joined and got asked for PvP by Vhilo and Saki. The video is based on the seagulls saying "Mine!" from Finding Nemo.
